South Florida Code Camp and Other Events

My grandmother wanted me to make her a video when she heard I got MVP in SharePoint Server of one of my sessions. I decided I haven’t visited in two years, so maybe I can do an in person session. I googled around and found South Florida Code Camp, which will be Saturday, February 12th. I will be doing a session at 9:50 in the morning on Silverlight just for my grandmother and whoever shows up. Here is the link for more information: http://www.fladotnet.com/co... Major Conference Cherry Popped…

So you are going to an event with 7,000 people that have similar interests to learn about a product that you have a vague idea about…I was excited prior to the event and nervous. I had a very bad week before the event. Every piece of technology that I brought with me to St. Louis broke. I had little sleep trying to get my code done and my technology to the point I started out with that Monday. Finally by Friday I was beat and hung out with my friends…On Saturday I went to Coders and everything after ......

devLink…Inexpensive Conference Worth your Dollar…

Are you a developer? There are so many dev conferences out there, but I found out about this one a few months ago. I am speaking on SharePoint and Silverlight at devLink in Nashville. The conference lasts about 3 days from August 13th to the 15th in Nashville, TN (as Rob Foster says NashVegas). I am looking at the speakers from the .Net Community (and SharePoint) and some notable mentions would be Claudio Lassala, Jessica Moss, Steve Andrews, Clint Edmonson, Rob Foster, Eric Shupps, Jeremy Sublett, ......

SharePoint Nation...We Need More Midwest Loving...

A friend of mine made a blog post about the lack of conferences in Kansas City. Here is the post: http://www.codebucket.org/a... If you don't know Lee Brandt you need to know him, even if he's not necessarily a full on SharePoint Nation Inductee he's a great developer. He was one of my awesome teammates at Coders 4 Charity. I would like to call him one of my friends in Kansas City. He makes some good points. I also ended up in a conversation with Jeff ......

What I've been up To and Will be up to...

I have been participating in the KC Corporate Challenge for the past few weeks. I have been hitting the gym and going to practices for Softball, Basketball, Soccer, and Flag Football. Unfortunately, I pulled something in my foot, so I could not actually play in soccer. I am trying to encourage better fitness in my life alongside more self confidence by speaking at various conferences and user groups. My next speaking engagement (and the biggest one) will be a 15 minute presentation on how to create ......
